JATOS (Just Another Tool for Online Surveys) is an open-source application for conducting online surveys.
Tools such as jsPsych, lab.js, OpenSesame, or PsyToolkit can be used to create studies, which can be run on any device with a web browser – mobile phones, tablets, desktops, and lab computers. Studies can be run in groups interacting with each other in real time, and participants can be recruited via third-party tools such as MTurk and Prolific.

“Other researchers who I know and work with are particularly jealous since it provides so much flexibility for data collection online, with no annual licenses or costs to external organisations.“
Hayward Godwin, Associate Professor, School of Psychology
